Latissimus Dorsi Reconstruction

57 year-old patient 5'5" tall and 140lbs. This patient had previous implant reconstruction performed by another surgeon which failed. Both implants had to be removed. She then underwent bilateral latissimus dorsi flap surgeries with tissue expanders in two separate stages. Lastly she underwent implant exchange (round, smooth, 520g), fat grafting and nipple reconstruction.

43 year-old patient 5'3" tall and 121lbs. This patient had a previous mastectomy on the right and requested delayed reconstruction as well as well as left prophylactic mastectomy. She underwent a right latissimus flap with tissue expander and left nipple-sparing mastectomy with tissue expander and Alloderm. She then underwent implant exchange for round gel implants (520g on left and 415g on right).

31 year-old patient that underwent bilateral mastectomies with implant and Alloderm reconstruction. She went on to have left-sided radiation and developed bilateral complications requiring conversion to latissimus flaps with implants (550g round silicone).

44 year-old patient 5'4" tall and 138lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies with tissue expander placement and required right-sided radiation. She required conversion to bilateral latissimus dorsi flaps with implants (smooth round 370g). She then underwent bilateral 3D nipple tattoo.

49 year-old patient 5'4" and 110lbs. This patient underwent a right mastectomy and radiation therapy. She completed tissue expansion and required a right latissimus dorsi flap + 371g silicone implant. She also underwent a left submuscular breast augmentation with a 180g silicone implant.

53 year-old patient 5'8" tall and 190lbs. This patient had previous bilateral mastectomies and left-sided radiation. She underwent insertion of tissue expanders with subsequent expansion and placement of a round silicone implant on the right (650g) and a latissimus and round silicone implant on the left (450g).

65 year-old patient 4'11", 150lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies with placement of bilateral tissue expanders and a latissimus dorsi on the left because of previous radiation therapy. She then had implant exchange for round, silicone implants (575g/533g).

41 year-old patient 4'11" tall and 136lbs. This patient underwent a left mastectomy with a latissimus flap and tissue expander recontruction as well as a right breast reduction/mastopexy. At a second stage she then underwent implant exchange on the left (270g) with a right breast augmentation (240g). She required preoperative left radiation therapy.

56 year-old patient 5'4" and 128lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies with direct-to-implant reconstruction using Alloderm and shaped silicone implants (335g). She had skin breakdown on the right requiring a latissimus dorsi flap. She has undergone bilateral nipple reconstruction and tattoo.

52 year-old patient who underwent right delayed reconstruction using a latissimus dorsi flap, tissue expander and subsequent round silicone implant (235g) and left direct-to-implant reconstruction with Alloderm and a round silicone implant (235g). She is then underwent nipple-share reconstruction and areolar tattoo.

34 year-old patient 5'7" and 160lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies and right-sided radiation therapy. She completed tissue expansion and required a right latissimus dorsi flap and a 457g round silicone implant. A 533g round silicone implant was used on the left.

38 year-old patient 5'4" tall and 220lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies and right-sided radiation therapy. She completed tissue expansion and required a right latissimus dorsi flap and a 240g round silicone implant. A 750g round silicone implant was used on the left.
