45 year-old patient who underwent bilateral mastectomies and tissue expander insertion. She required radiation therapy on the right and because of contracture of the skin could not go onto implant exchange. She underwent bilateral DIEP flaps with implants (255/205g). She then completed nipple reconstruction and tattoo.
50 year-old patient 5'5" tall and 132 lbs. This patient underwent bilateral mastectomies with tissue expander and Alloderm reconstruction. She required left-sided radiation. Because of skin contraction we decided to convert to DIEP + implant reconstruction. She then went on to have nipple reconstruction and 3D tattoo.
45 year-old patient who underwent implant reconstruction bilaterally using tissue expanders and Alloderm and implant exchange. She required postoperative radiation therapy on the left and developed very thin skin with extensive rippling. She underwent revision surgery with conversion to bilateral DIEP flaps with implants (195g/235g). She is awaiting nipple reconstruction.
46 year-old patient unhappy with appearance of breasts following implant reconstruction and right sided radiation. She underwent bilateral explantation, insertion of new tissue expanders and a latissimus dorsi flap on the right. She then underwent implant exchange (SRX-415 on right, SRF-435 on left) and bilateral nipple reconstruction.
57 year-old patient unhappy with appearance of breasts following implant reconstruction and right sided radiation. She underwent bilateral explantation, insertion of new tissue expanders and a latissimus dorsi flap on the right. She then underwent implant exchange (SRX-370), fat grafting and right nipple reconstruction.
